*^__^* I seem to surround myself with Virgo unconciously ~ but wisely, knowing that they will always just get things done! Squirrels need all the help they can get, seeing how they understand the concept of burying nuts for a future date but can't seem to remember to document where they put them ;)

I am so not surprised about the narrow tie preference ....ditto.

The lack of inworld tie disigners of note....and of ties worth wearing, let alone purchasing drives this neko up the wall and over the other side. I don't understand the disconnect betten RL and SL fashion in this regard. Any high end mens' fashion store prides itself on a splendid tie collection, and the best ones have them laid out like candy (and oh boy do they attract men like women to a shoe display)....guys don't have that many options and this is one are where they can express themselves.

*slams paw down on table*

I am very DIS-A-POINTED!

You've clearly been hanging out with far too many Virgos! /me snorts

Speaking of ties, I couldn't agree more and have been visually stalking Rene Auberjonois' character, Paul Lewiston, from Boston Legal for his ties. Given my preference for narrow ties, I'm stuck with a less than thrilling selection, and certainly few designer ties.

But I'm not bitter...

And speak not of clip-ons... such a filthy word.

*0__o.....

This reminds me of a pricey plaid skirt I purchased in a beautiful store filled with beautiful clothes. It was the first and possibly last item I would ever purchase from that particular designer because the mismatch of the pattern on the BACK of the item was dreadful.

I did learn that when a creator does not display both front and back of an outfit ~ one should approach the items offered for sale with caution. A good creator/merchant) will offer the customer views from both angles (if not also a third viewpoint) because they have nothing to hide ~ and let's face it. No matter HOW good we look from the front, most of our time spent in SL is looking at the backside of our AVs and if the designer can't carry through to a 360 vision then they should just offer posters to be hung on a wall.

Personally the collars and lapels on these outfits make me want to cry. Even worse, while you love crevats, I am a total whore for ties and no matter how hard I look at those images I can't convince myself that those are prim ties.

If they are..well then ....I need a new pair of eyes.

A few designers understand how much of an impression a GOOD tie can make....it's not just an afterthought! It makes a statement. Sends a message. Like a fine pair a shoes a man's tie speaks volumes, even more so because it is smack dab in the middle and draws the eyes like a magnet....and those say *clip on*

Hello Mr Anatine,

Miss Flasheart was once quite active in Caledon, running her 'Prim & Proper' clothing stores in several locations, including one of the sites in Victoria City that now belongs to me and houses 'Laurel Crown', Miss Daehlie's line of ladieswear. I also recall that for a while Miss Flasheart owned one of the duchies, Loch Avie, perhaps. After leaving Caledon to concentrate on her own Shengli-la sims, Miss Flasheart then re-emerged as an active resident of Victoriana, eventually moving her five sims to sit to Victoriana's west. It seems that there are only three sims remaining now.
